The promise of vibrant communities and a stronger Arizona starts at home.
Our Values
Across Arizona, there is a shortage of homes that meet the needs of Arizonans, particularly extremely low-income households. Many of these households are severely cost burdened, spending more than half of their income on housing. These households are more likely than others to sacrifice necessities like healthy food and healthcare to pay the rent, and to experience unstable housing situations like evictions.
Home Matters® to Arizona is the first statewide Home Matters initiative focused on a new generation of housing, connected communities, and healthier individuals, families, and economies.
Beyond a roof and walls, a home can help Arizonans improve their long-term health outcomes. With your support, we can save lives and money while fostering healthier communities.
Across Arizona, there is a dire shortage of affordable and available rental homes to low-income households.
The Home Matters Arizona Fund looks to address housing needs at scale, adding critical housing units while encouraging housing developers to create supportive ecosystems for people and families where they live, learn, shop and work.
Leadership
A team of community leaders will help Home Matters to Arizona further the conversation about home’s critical linkages to health, education, public safety, personal success and the economy.
